Alice & Alec', slitting, summary of investigation





























We try to summarize what we have explored so far, and we are moving on to another stage to see how to combine grasshopper (or other animation software) in order to model an object, which may be a dress, a lamp or a furniture, with these specific slitting effects.

very nice overview of all the experiments you did so far.
please choose 2 or 3 of the most promising slittings and generate diagrams and drawings that explain the deformation potential of each system.
than make a speculative drawing advancing on one of the ideas. than try both a digital and a physical model to verify your speculative drawing.
