The slitting experiments are dealing both with ornamental as well as with structural aspects. A number of experiments on how to get simple overlaying slitting patterns by using elastic materials have been accomplished.
The next steps are experiments within 3d structures, as well as types of structures that can emerge(dealing with cutting and rotating, creating different states or types of tension within the material).
